our process for children

Planning your child's shoot begins with a free consultation. The main purpose of our consultation is to show you our portfolio so that you may get a feel for our photography and design style. Topics such as pricing, hours of coverage, location, wardrobe, photo display, and date are also discussed.

If you do not require a specific location for your session, we can provide suggestions for locations that correlate to the interests of your child or popular locations. That's it! If you decide on a package, we set your photo session date.

Depending on whether it's a child's special event or a photo session, we will be ready to capture those special moments. We like to step back and let your child be his or herself.

We provide some creative direction during the session or at events. But we also encourage parents and their children to make a game of it and "play" as we take photos. If there is a pose you want to try out, just let us know. The whole process does not take very long and we deliver great photos whether children run around, act shy, or love to pose.

After your shoot we begin a back-up of all your photos. Your photos and all subsequent work will be backed-up three times on reliable media, and offsite to ensure its safety. Then we begin processing your photos. After one week of processing, images are posted privately online for viewing, proofing, and sharing with your family and friends.

Finally, beautiful archival quality prints and a DVD with high-resolution and low-resolution files will be delivered to your home.
